With the release of The Hobbit a little over a week away, fan entusiasm - and fan parodies - are beginning to reach a fevered pitch. While most of what's on YouTube appears to have been made by a trio of stone

Take this frighteningly pitch perfect mash-up of Thorin's arrival at Bag End with LMFAO's anthem to alcoholism Shots, for example. It's not exactly revolutionary in terms of its parody potential, but you're never too sophisticated to enjoy the site of a guy dressed up like a dwarf shouting out Lil Jon lyrics.
As an added bonus, it seems to portray Gandalf in the absolutely creepiest light possible...

No matter how many chuckles and ironic tee-hees the above video might elicit, it's got absolutely nothing on Rankin & Bass's glass chipping and plate cracking take on how this scene went down.
...the entire cartoon could have been this song on loop for an hour and twenty minutes and it'd pretty much be 200 times better than some other Hobbit cartoons I can think of.
