Orlando Bloom brings 2005 memes back in a big way, takes the hobbits to Isengard

Becoming the subject of an interent meme is a mixed blessing.  On one hand, being in a meme means you'll receive exposure that most celebrities could only dream of - but on the other, the fame is often fleeting and hard to parlay into anything resembling a meaningful career.

Luckily, Lord of the Rings heartthrob Orlando Bloom already was a celebrity with a meaningful career and had more exposure than most of his peers could dream of... so, chances are good that he probably didn't mind that whole 'They're taking the hobbits to Isengard' meme that swept across the internet (and trashy house clubs) seven or eight years ago.

Bloom took a crack at this meme in person while wrapping up shooting on The Hobbit trilogy recently, and gave an impromptu rendition of the song after a marathon, 12-hour day of shooting and a couple of beers with the cast and crew.

The result, in all of its meme-tastic glory, is below.

If by some chance you managed to miss the original 'They're taking the hobbits to Isengard' silliness - or you just want to hear it again for reference - the original video's right here...
