Wolverine the Puppet Musical is not subtle, still awesome

I've never been the biggest fan of traditional musicals.  There's something about the style of singing and dancing that always struck me as hokey - although recent offerings like RPG the Musical and Persona 4 the Musical might change that impression.

As would Wolverine - the Puppet Musical, for that matter, if it ever made it to a full-on show.

The video is exactly what you'd expect from the title - an Avenue Q style puppet of Hugh Jackman spoofs comic book lore and pop culture with a brash, guttural charm.  Strictly speaking, the video is rather painful for the first minute or two, but if you skip directly to the 1:00 minute mark it really hits its stride.

The highlight is when Multiple Man's spoof of "Fugue for Tin Horns" (Guys & Dolls) segues into a great send up of "Music of the Night" (Phantom of the Opera) - although, the bit with Spider-Man is pure comedy gold that could only be improved if there was a Bono puppet present for the thrashing.
