See Hatsune Miku live in concert, force her to sing in English, and play the heck out of her on your PS3 all at the end of August

The end of August is usually a festive time for Hatsune Miku fans, as it marks the birthday of the first lady of Vocaloid.

But this year, August 31st - and the end of August in general - is going to be an even festive...r time for Miku fans, particularly if they live in the United States.

The reason reason why is the announcement that Hatsune Miku's V3 English Voicebank will be released in North and South America on August 31 to commemorate the digital diva's sixth birthday.  If the sample released earlier this summer peaked your interest, you can download the singing synthesize software for $149.00.

Also on August 31, fans of Miku in Los Angeles and New York City can watch the Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai Concert from Yokohama for $20.00 a ticket. Similar to the 2011 Live Party concert, this event will take place at select movie theatres around the world (including Germany, England, France, Brazil, and Mexico!)

There's still no word on when the tickets will be available - or where in NYC or LA you can watch the concert - but if you're interested in going, you can camp the English Live Viewing Facebook page for updates.

Finally, August 27 marks the release of the otaku-friendly rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for the PlayStation 3.  At $49.99, the game's a bit of an investment, but it's still a damn slight cheaper than it would be if you imported it from Japan.

On top of the savings, you'll also get two Snow Miku costumes and a custom Hastune Miku PlayStation theme if you pre-order from GameStop... so it might be worth picking this one up at your local mall.
