The Final Fantasy XIV high-level dungeon crawl is Tonberry-tastic

There's just a handful of days left before Final Fantasy XIV is reborn as a heaping helping of awesome, and Square Enix is doing a great job of drumming up excitement for the new returning MMO.

After ending the first, flawed iteration of FFXIV in the most epic and amazing way possible, Square Enix knew it'd have to pull out every stop possible to lure new and returning players into the Realm Reborn.  Based on the videos and updates that have appeared since that time, it looks like they might just be able to top that incredible ending cinematic.

The latest of these video, Dungeon Crawl Part 2, highlights some of the high level dungeons and enemies waiting to give players massive headaches and massive loot.  It follows the low-level dungeon crawl video, so between the two you should see pretty much everything in Eorzea that's worth seeing.

The real highlight of the video comes at the 4:00 minute mark, however, when it jumps to The Wanderer's Palace.

That Tonberry King looks so awesome, I kind of almost want to get Throat Stabbed by it...

If this video has tempted you to give into the siren's song of another SE MMORPG, you might want to spend a bit more for the collector's edition and return to Vana'diel Eorzea in style with a Coeurl Mount, Baby Behemoth Minion, Helm of Light, and Behemoth Barding for your chocobo.

Final Fantasy XIV returns on August 27.  If one of you could call my wife sometime after that and remind her that I love her, I'll totally power-level you your first two weeks of the game.
