Its latest attempt to drum up publicity for the release, Square Enix has announced that it's hosting a massive gallery exhibit of artwork from Final Fantasy X / X-2 just outside of Los Angeles. The exhibit will run at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra from March 15 - March 26.
Outside of the awesome factor that is seeing a gallery full of artwork from the two games, Square Enix is giving potential attendees another reason to attend - they can buy the game three days earlier than its street release date of March 18 at a special launch event on Saturday, March 15.
Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase and art director Yusuke Naora will be on hand, and will be happy to autograph the first 200 copies of the game sold at the gallery. Sucks to be number 201 on that line.
Anyway, this is a pretty opportunity to check out Final Fantasy artwork in a great setting if you're going to be anywhere near Los Angeles in March.
If not, you send Square Enix $80 of your money for the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster Collector's Edition which comes with five lithographs that you can frame and hold your only gallery exhibition with.
Added bonus - no one will kick you out of that event for guzzling gallons of lukewarm, bottom shelf chardonnay in your pajama pants.
