Object of geek desire: Dr. Who TARDIS shower rack

With the exception of Alfred Hitchcock fanboys, very few of people get to take their fandoms into the shower with them.

Once the clothing hits the floor and the steam starts flowing, your eyes are at the mercy of whatever lackluster tiles adorn your bathroom walls.  Sure you could slap up a geeky shower curtain, but past that there really isn't much you can do to geek up your shower.

At least there wasn't, before today:

What you're looking at is the absolutely brilliant design of this week's Object of Geek Desire - a TARDIS shower rack.

Elegant in both its simplicity and its iconic shade of blue, this powder-coated steel masterpiece will let anyone who enters the sanctum of your shower know that your heart(s) belong to the Doctor. As an added bonus, it can also be a subtle way to express regret to showering guests that your shower isn't bigger on the inside.

Unfortunately, the TARDIS shower rack is a ThinkGeek exclusive - which means they don't have to be competitive with its price. Thus, you'll need to warm up to the idea of spending $45.00 (plus shipping) on one of these badboys.

Still, it *would* compliment the TARDIS soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, shower curtain, bath towels, and bath mat nicely which leads an outsider to this fandom to wonder... when the hell did Dr. Who decide to make a powerplay on the bathroom?
