One of the most stirring moments from The Hobbit - both the book, and emerging trilogy of movies - comes when Thorin and Company regale Bilbo Baggins with an impromptu rendition of The Misty Mountains Cold.
Up until that point, a very flustered Bilbo is dead set against anything to do with dwarves, dragons, or leaving Bag End - but he changes his mind once Thorin lays his history and lament out in song. After hearing the verses, Bilbo...
"...felt the love of beautiful things made by hands and by cunning and by magic moving through him, a fierce and jealous love, the desire of the hearts of dwarves. Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick."
Strong stuff, eh? Well toss all that out the window because The Auralnauts have put together the most hilarious rendition of The Misty Mountains cold to date. (warning: if drinking liquids, put mouth away from monitor/tablet)
